Extension

To add to the last post, the ecology lecture was switched with that scheduled for monday so was on the Galapagos archipelago (love that word) and was a different lecturer than expected. She was of the young and nervous variety (practically PhD student looking). I'll be honest, I turned up a little late so don't know who she was/is - on the other hand pretty sure she started earlier than she was s'posed to. She finished 20 mins early, as is the trend with young and nervous lecturers, so I had a pretty big gap between lectures (read some of my book and worried about barnacles). The comparative physiology lecture was as enthralling as expected and too anthropocentric for my liking - apparently the aim of neurological studies is to understand the human nervous system etc - we are such a self involved species.

This barnacle lab report is becoming more and more worryingly problematic.
