Taking a leaf from other blogs I am thinking of doing something weekly. Not sure what yet but am thinking. Maybe just an interesting fact or a species profile. I'll continue stewing over it.
This morning's mud and water collecting session went well - though missed the ecology lecture and am deeply upset about it (no sarcasm btw). Am now going to measure nitrate and look at the creepy crawlies.

- Just finished my second year (and got on the Dean's List for my grades :D) at the University of St Andrews studying behavioural biology. I am particularly interested in behavioural ecology (especially interspecific and intraspecifc social interactions). After my degree I hope to continue onto masters and eventually a PhD in ethology. I am especially interested in canids, primarily african wild dogs and wolves, their social structure, and conservation.
